It feels like this game is building up character backstory to Es, which means in-universe the Facade, the room Es is trapped in, and everything is real, it’s not just a metaphor. Considering that, it’s really annoying that this game just spins it’s wheels showing different what ifs for stories Es could be slotted into. Like “wouldn’t it be cool if we made a sequel where Es got out of the room, and you could have fun adventures together?” And, yeah that would be cool… So why not just make that?
