Pathetic! This app is useless. We have spent tens of thousands of dollars on automated shades. The shades are beautiful but the automation is worthless because of the non-functional app. The schedule is so difficult to use, and the app cannot follow the programed schedule. This should be SO embarrassing for Bliss. This is a customer facing product. 1.8 star reviews at the time of this post. The customers are screaming at the leadership of this company to do something about this!
Can’t even get the blinds to connect. We have tried over and over to get the app to connect and can’t. We’ve tried different phones and even had 2 different tech support teams look at it a d purchased a new router. Nothing worked. App and set up is just poor.

Not intuitive although they have good tutorial videos on YouTube. The one thing I could not find in any of the tutorials was how to edit scenes and timers once I had created them. They seemed permanently stuck the way I originally set them. After hours of searching for a solution I finally discovered that there are three small gray dots on the gray background which are almost invisible on the top right of the scenes and the timer page for editing. had to change my screen brightness to see them.
Setup was confusing. Support is responsive and sent me instructions on editing settings. Small grey text on grey background is not s great experience. I have a timer that is supposed to open one blind fully around mid day, it closes all the blinds. I have another that is supposed to close all the blinds at sunset, it does nothing.
Doesn’t work. Just times out.
Horrible experience. Junk app.
Having been a coder in another life, I have to say this is one of the worst apps I’ve encountered. It frustratingly takes multiple attempts of the exact same steps to get basic things like bridge and device setup to work. When they “work,” the results may be surprising, like a roller shade going up when the app says down, incorrect battery status, etc. When you go to link to Alexa, it doesn’t open the Alexa app, it opens the Alexa app page in the Play Store, which then opens generically/no Bliss
App does the bare minimum. Very buggy. Designed by someone who doesn’t understand shades, user interfaces, or app development. Got two stars because I still prefer using the app over the remote.
