It’s terrible!I had nothing but Nice Trips which it said I didn’t have any of.It kept saying I needed to drive more for savings.When I finally did get savings it started at 6%..NEVER gave me ANY discount on anything.And it picked up a trip I was in another car not on my policy & a passenger,so when I edited it my “discount”went down to 4%.It was only low because of the times of day I drove..Nice Trip or not.. I’ve been an Essurance member for several years and in that time, this app has gotten no better; in fact, it has functionally, gotten worse. My primary complaint is I can no longer update my trips, or even delete them for that matter. Additionally, all of my trips are fragmented so a single trip becomes two or three. This affects my discount and my wallet so I’m disappointed in this service.
Logs any movement, from airplanes to rideshares to me running. Literally! I try to turn it off while riding as a passenger on any moving apparatus and it turns back on seconds later. I can’t be on my phone on any vehicle because apparently I’m always driving. Not user friendly at all. Needs a use interface overhaul and more user research. Much more work needed on this one.
Continuously goes into “not responding”, which causes a pop up to overlay over my driving app. Meaning it’s adding an unnecessary distraction for the driver to have to manually hit “wait” or “close” when I should be hands free and my eyes on the road. Not great for a drive safe app to cause more distractions for the driver.
I used this app and it ended up lowering my car insurance rate by 7% alone.
Worthless app if your a passenger and the driver slams the brake on you are dinged for it I drive like an old man and I was dinged for being a passenger also if you so much as fart you get dinged for a hard brake seriously? Could take me the length of 2 football fields to slow down from 30 miles per hour for this not to ding ya… So needless to say it will tell you driving to a discount of 0% don’t waste your time its a scam to track you and log how many miles you drive and nothing more..
Not recording all trips. Terrible app. Terrible calculation of a good driver.
Keeps stopping, won’t log trips
It drains my battery entirely to fast. It demands full access to my phone, so it should know when it is moving and when it is stationary, where it should be going into standby at the very least. This app is required by esurance as a means to lower my rates, but it it not even close to being phone friendly. Guess I will have to decide what is more important, lower rates or a phone battery that lasts all day.
App keeps stopping because it says I don’t have a cellular signal even when I have full bars on 5g
