2022 update – the app is functioning as expected and there is one major problem plus an opportunity to make it better. The problem is that it is no more possible to exclude images from the library; there are some pictures that are not suitable for TV and it used to be possible to exclude them from the library, but it is no more! The opportunity is to add music in the background to make it more interesting and immersive.

I love this app and purchase it straight away. The mosaic view is awesome, but what really bugs me is that it randomly interrupts on GoogleTV while watching shows on BBC iPlayer, and I was unable to find a setting that stops it from doing so.
This app works exactly for what I intended: as a replacement for an official Google Photos App on Android TV. I love that I have access to all my photos and albums. The screensaver functionality is always fun as a background for when family and friends visit us. Great work!
